Internships
Chicago Home + Garden is looking for great intern candidates. These minimum-wage positions are for journalism students who can work in our offices at least two full days a week. We give strong preference to candidates who are magazine majors and who have some publication experience, either with student publications or at another internship. Duties include lots of fact checking (experience in this preferred), some clerical duties, photo research, story research, sidebar writing, headline writing, and participation in story planning.

Internships typically last three months. Dates are flexible. Deadlines are:
For summer: May 1
For fall: Aug 1
For winter: Nov 1
For spring: Feb 1
