Meet the Staff

Editor Jan Parr was an editor at Chicago magazine for seven years and has edited Chicago HOME + GARDEN since its inception in 2001. She was the founding editor of Online Investor magazine, and began her career as a reporter for Forbes. As a freelance writer, Jan has contributed articles to Elle Decor, Cottage Living, House Beautiful, Vegetarian Times, Travel & Leisure, and other publications. She is an adjunct instructor at Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism.

Megan Duffy Rostan, art director, is a former associate art director of Chicago magazine. She previously was art director of Upside Magazine, LAN Times, and The Prague Post and has designed book covers and interiors for Loyola Press. 

Adam Moroschan, associate art director, graduated from the School of the Art Institute and has worked in design for 14 years, designing corporate identity systems, Web sites, publications, and book covers. He has also studied interior design at Harrington College of Design.

Gina Bazer, senior writer, was formerly the editor of Chicago Social magazine. She contributes to Design Dose, our daily blog.

Barri Leiner, contributing editor, is a freelance writer and stylist and the former style reporter for WGN-TV. She is the co-author of three books, Flea Market Baby, Flea Market Fido, and Home Rules (with Nate Berkus). 

Joanne Trestrail, senior editor, was formerly managing editor of Chicago magazine and a features editor at the Chicago Tribune. She is a dining critic for Chicago magazine and has written for many publications, including Travel & Leisure, Biography, and Outside.

Bradley Lincoln, copy editor, writes our weekly Domestica e-newsletter. Brad is also an editor at Playboy magazine.
