Spotted | 12/03/10One of a Kind Show Highlights I checked out the One of a Kind Show at the Mart today (it’s open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and while the jewelry and apparel options where most plentiful, there were a handful of design-oriented booths. My favorite was a company out of Minneapolis, called WoodSport (top left). It was their first year at the show and their rustic-modern wood plates, bowls, and other vessels are well priced and absolutely gorgeous. Another highlight of the show was the new Etsy section. There I came across the lovely White Nest line, mainly pillows. Some other highlights of the show were Cynthia Vardhan Ceramics, Kit Paulson Glass Objects, Emmy Star Brown’s window art (she paints on salvaged windows), and Uncommon Handmade’s simple wood clocks and decorative objects. —Gina Bazer Posted at 1:03 PM in Spotted | Back to all posts |
