The last time we checked, Grand Avenue Living, the pop-up shop opened by Mary Garvey James of Geneva’s 610 Home was supposed to close its doors at the end of December. Since it was still open, um, yesterday, when I was in the neighborhood, I decided to pop in and see if it was to become a permanent fixture on the strip. Looks like the answer is no. Instead, the contents of the temporary shop will find its permanent home at 1015 Webster Ave. in Lincoln Park and the new spot, set to open mid-February, will be called Classic Remix.
