Happy Hour | 07/02/10Ashley & Sloane Opening
Last week we stopped by the grand opening of Ashley & Sloane, a new showroom just west of downtown packed with wonderful French and English antiques and reproductions. Betsy Karp, who started Vintage Pine years ago and who makes frequent buying trips to Europe, is behind the venture. Karp hosted the party with Farrow & Ball, which was displaying its new Chelsea wallpapers. Ashley & Sloan is open by appointment only and geared toward the trade, but savvy individuals are also welcome. I think there were 4 ladies who started vintage pine just an FYI
I'm so happy to see that Betsy Karp, who many years ago started the showroom, Vintage Pine, is once again on the design scene. She's great, travels everywhere and has an eye that shows that she does, and has great taste and a great feel for what's new and exciting.
