Whenever I come across a Chicagoan selling stuff I love on Etsy, I get a little pang of excitement. Call it Chicago pride. Today, I discovered Julie of PainterPoetMuse, who sells vintage artwork, photographs, and books, including some charming illustrations from old children’s stories. (She also has a vintage clothing shop on Etsy called Basya Berkman). Want to start a collection of vintage photos à la Pottery Barn photo stylist Jeffrey Moss’s? (the image above is from a story about his home that was in our July/August 2010 issue). This Etsy shop is a great place to start; a lot of 21 snapshot of a Chicago family from the 1920s is $25. —Gina Bazer Posted at 9:00 AM in Spotted | Back to all posts |
