Dose Market Debuts

This Sunday, June 5, is the opening day of Dose Market, a new monthly, European-style market taking place at the River East Art Center. It includes 40 food, fashion, and home decor vendors from Chicago, selling their wares in one place, year-round. Here’s a sampling of who’ll be there: The Andersonville antique shop Roost will be setting up a table of vintage curiosities and home goods, Gentleman’s Boombox will be selling funky boomboxes made from vintage suitcases (see above), Sprout Home will be selling flowers, plants, terrariums, vases and more, and there will also be a hang-out lounge, courtesy of Revision Home. The market will take place one Sunday a month, year-round. Open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door.
