Vintage Bazaar Finds a Permanent Home

The Vintage Bazaar is a 150-vendor affair that’s been held at random warehouses and storefronts, as well as at Logan Square’s Congress Theater, for the past two years, but the eclectic event has finally found a permanent home at Uptown’s historic Aragon Ballroom. It’s held the second Sunday of the month in the summertime (July 8, August 12, and September 9) from 12-5 p.m. Vendors will sell vintage décor, housewares, furniture, clothing, jewelry and accessories, and beer, cocktails, local food, DJ entertainment and even haircuts will all be offered as well. Local history buff Albert Walavich will also give free tours of the ballroom every half hour from 1-5 p.m. Admission is $5 and kids under 12 are free. Visit thevintagebazaar.com/upcoming-events for more information.
