Spotted | 11/07/11Jose Thenee
One of my favorite booths at the recent Antiques + Modernism Winnetka show featured drawings by José Thenée, a master blacksmith born in Austria in 1853 who made his home in Argentina. Paul Lenczuk of the Lake Zurich-based antique dealer Settings, Inc., bought them from a dealer who purchased them from the Thenee estate in Argentina. The framed drawings run $300 -$3,500 and up depending on subject , size, and frame style. —Jan Parr Posted at 12:04 PM in Spotted | Back to all posts |
