InBox | 11/30/11Silhouettes as Instant Art
File this under cute: Tiffany Brooks of You and Your Décor leaves a silhouette as a gift in every home that she decorates. “I have the homeowners and kids sit sideways in front of a light wall, and I take a photo,” she says. “With some Photoshop magic, I then sharpen the shadow, blow it up (or in many cases, shrink it), then trace the image onto canvas and paint it. I choose the paint color according to the decor in the home.” Brooks believes that even in the most upscale homes, “silhouettes ground the place, and bring everything back to reality.” —Gina Bazer Posted at 8:00 AM in InBox | Back to all posts |

I like the idea of the silhouettes, it is both interesting and modern and a great conversation peace!
