New Showrooms Coming to the Merchandise Mart

Visitors to The Design Center in the Merchandise Mart are going to start noticing some new showrooms on the 6th and 14th floors. Starting in early October, you’ll be able to check out five new tenants. DesignLush (pictured here) is a modern furniture, lighting and accessories manufacturer. Think exotic hardwoods, full-grain leathers, fluffy wool shag rugs, and hair-on hides. Its neighbors will be: Knoll Textiles, Paul Ferrante (a maker of lighting, furniture and accessories), Quadrille, (gorgeous fabrics and wallcoverings), and Tufenkian Artisan Carpets. While these showrooms are aimed toward the trade, they are open to the public if you use the Design Center’s Designer on Call program.
