A Chicago family recently commissioned this design/build firm to create a second home on Lake Marie in Antioch. “The project was designed around the family’s vacation lifestyle,” says principal architect Kent DeReus. Wood siding and bright white trim have a Cape Cod vibe, while plenty of extra bedrooms make guests feel comfy. A lakefront stone terrace is well suited for outdoor entertaining.
