About our listings: The professionals and businesses listed here are chosen by the editors of Chicago Home + Garden. We gather leads from trade magazines, from other professionals in the field, and via word of mouth. Listings are independently reported by Chicago Home + Garden writers; they are not related to advertising.
We include only Chicago-area professionals and businesses that deal directly with the public. Many of the people mentioned here have other talents: furniture restorers often sell antique furniture, furniture makers sometimes do upholstery work, some interior designers have expertise in kitchens and baths.
