At this 20-year-old design/build firm, which won the Chrysalis Award for Illinois State Remodeler of the Year in 2003 and 2004, as well as the 2004 Better Business Bureau Torch Award, almost everyone on the professional staff has a background in architecture. The firm recently finished remodeling an 11,000-square-foot home on the ravine in Highland Park in just nine months. The firm also works on single-family homes and Gold Coast apartments in the city.
