Chicago, IL 312-787-0347 Marvin Herman established his practice in 1984 and since then has worked on many condos and mansions along Lake Shore Drive, as well as on single-family homes in the suburbs. His work ranges from traditional to contemporary, but he says his forte is period design, including Art Deco. The firm specializes in maxiÂÂmizing space, particularly in landmark buildings, and has renovated six of the seven penthouse floors in the Park Hyatt. In addition to its local projects, the firm has worked on a Rancho Santa Fe residence in California, a Park Avenue penthouse in Manhattan, and a residential complex in L.A.’s Century City.
