You usually have to wait until after Christmas to hit up the semi-annual Jayson Home Floor Model & More Sale. But not this year. It kicks off December 21 and runs for a full month (through January 21). Expect to find items up to 70 percent off original prices.

Think Outside The Box

This weekend is your last chance to check out the Out of the Box Artists Holiday Market at 109 N. Oak Park Ave. in Oak Park. This pop-up offers ceramics, fine art prints, paintings, and other one-of-a-kind gifts by local artists. Find ceramic bowls and vases by John Putnam, soaps by Berwyn Betty, photography of Chicago by Sean Gallagher, and original pastels by Mel Thompson. The shop is open Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Last Call!

Hey procrastinators, last-minute shoppers, and adrenaline junkies! Sunday, two short days before Christmas, Ravenswood shops are staying open late and offering sweet deals and treats. A taste of what you’ll find: Neighborly, shown here, will have holiday refreshments, Alapash will serve wine and knock 20 percent of select items, Orange Beautiful will have cocktails, 20 percent off gift wrap, and free wrapping, and Ravensgoods will have yummy nibbles. Make your way through the hood, picking up any final presents and enjoying the all-around festive atmosphere.
