Feb 20, 2013Nate Berkus Launches Fabric Line at CalicoBy Alice Oglethorpe
Former Chicagoan Nate Berkus must not sleep. Ever. That’s the only explanation for how he can accomplish so much, so quickly. In addition to running his interior design firm, writing books, and designing a line for Target, Berkus just launched a collection of fabrics for Calico. Each of the 24 different styles has Berkus’ sophisticated signature style—there are ikat stripes in citrine, cut velvet Greek key, jacquard woven chevron, herringbone, cabana-striped cotton, embroidered linen, and more. Prices start at just $14.99 a yard (although some fabrics go as high as $86.99 a yard) and you can find them online or at the Calico stores in Wilmette, Hinsdale, Deerfield, and Barrington.
