Designer Deals at Divine Consign

Shop like an interior designer this weekend at consignment furniture store Divine Consign’s warehouse sale. Owner Kellie Scott has taken over a 10,000-square-foot space at 411 West Harrison Street in Oak Park and filled it with high-end furniture, antiques, and accessories from showrooms in the Merchandise Mart and elsewhere. This is stuff that’s usually only available to the trade, so it’s a rare treat to get to shop this way (and the sale only lasts 10 days: from today through February 17th). You’ll find items from C.A.I. Designs, Kenneth Ludwig, Anacara, Park Place Interiors, and others. Oh yeah, and prices are discounted 50 to 90 percent. This $8,600 Lilly Pulitzer sofa? You’ll only pay $2,999.

It would be very generous and diplomatic to call what was included in this sale "high end furniture." It may have come from Merchandise Mart....in what decade, we don't know!
