Feb 15, 2013President’s Day Pop-UpBy Alice Oglethorpe
Hotel Lincoln (1816 N. Clark St.) shares its name with a former commander-in-chief, so it’s only fitting that the boutique hotel does something to celebrate President’s Day. On Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the hotel’s second floor turns into a pop-up market made up of local shops. There will be home décor from Comfort Me Boutique and Bethie B, pretty things from The Left Bank, makeup from Arch Apothecary, and more. To make it feel like a real party, there will also be sweet treats from Do-Rite Donuts and Salted Caramel and bubbly from Illinois Sparkling Co. And there’s no cover charge, meaning there’s no reason not to check it out. It’s what Abe would have wanted. Posted Feb. 15, 2013, | Back to all posts |
