Thom Filicia Signs Book at Kohler

Interior designer and former Queer Eye for the Straight Guy star Thom Filicia is coasting through Chicago next week as part of his cross-country book tour. He’ll be signing his new book, American Beauty: Renovating and Decorating a Beloved Retreat, at the Kohler Store in the Merchandise Mart (222 W. Merchandise Mart Plaza) Wednesday, February 13. It’s Filicia’s third release and is part-memoir, describing the makeover of an upstate New York home (with a foreword written by Tina Fey, who collaborated with Filicia on the design of her family’s apartment.) Catch the A-Lister from 6-8 p.m. His book will be available for $42, but admission is free. RSVP at www.thekohlerstore.com/registration.
