Mar 22, 2013Find Some Vintage Ad Posters Worthy of ‘Mad Men’ This WeekendBy Alice Oglethorpe
We’re as obsessed with Mad Men as anybody (the new season starts April 7th!), so it’s perfect timing that this weekend is the International Vintage Poster Fair. Indulge your love of all things advertising by browsing the thousands of vintage ads—for food, liquor, film, travel, and more, some dating as far back as the 1890s—that will be for sale at the Chicago Cultural Center (77 E. Randolph St.) Saturday and Sunday. Tickets to the fair are $15 for the weekend or, if you’re up for a party, there’s a $35-a-head opening night gala on Friday.
