Mar 15, 2013Learn How To Make the Most of a Tiny Apartment TomorrowBy Alice Oglethorpe
Developer Jay Michael has made a name for himself with his FLATS project. He converts old buildings on the North Side into affordable, high-design, and amenity-rich apartments that pack a lot of style into tiny spaces. Seriously, tiny—they start at about 300 square feet. On Saturday, from 2 to 5 p.m., he will be bringing his small-space savvy to the third floor of Bloomingdale’s Home & Furniture Store (600 N. Wabash Ave.), showing off two vignettes—a bedroom and a living/dining area—furnished with that store’s collections. Need to make the most of a microscopic apartment? Book an appointment to check out the FLATS model, shown here, which is furnished entirely by CB2. Posted March 15, 2013, | Back to all posts |
