Mar 12, 2013Urban Source’s Scrap Fabric and Wallpaper Is Incredibly Cheap Right NowBy Alice Oglethorpe
Once a year, the folks at Urban Source (1429 West Chicago Ave., 312-455-0505) make room for new wallpaper and fabric by clearing out the store’s showroom and back storage area. For you, that means a sample sale this Thursday and Friday. You’ll score deals on remnants of designer fabrics (great for a small project like a throw pillow), tons of wallpaper samples (use them for crafts or frame a square for cheap art), 1- to 5-yard pieces of upholstery and drapery fabrics at less than half price, opened rolls of wallpaper, showroom window treatment displays, and pillow inserts. And these aren’t no-name brands. You’ll find discounts on Marimekko, Tempaper, and shades from The Shade Store. Happy hunting! Posted March 12, 2013, | Back to all posts |
