There are three big weekend events and sales for anyone in the mood for high design in Chicago:

Designer Garage Sale in New Buffalo

Head to New Buffalo, Michigan, this weekend for the Designer Garage Sale (601 W. Buffalo St.) Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. You will find huge discounts on artwork, textiles, vintage fashion, plants, and select pieces from the Merchandise Mart (including a sofa, chairs, and table from Janus et Cie’s Amalfi collection, shown here). There’s a suggested donation of $5 at the door; proceeds go to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago and Benton Harbor.

Divine Consign

Oak Park’s Divine Consign (809 S. Oak Park Ave.) is throwing an outdoor furniture tent sale Friday through Monday with items from top showrooms in the Merchandise Mart (Anacara, Treasure Garden, Woodard, and more). There are sectionals, lounge chairs, bars, coffee tables, sofas, loveseats, stools, benches, dining sets—you name it! And the prices are up to 90 percent off their retail price.

Randolph Street Market

It must be summer because the Randolph Street Market is back this weekend. Check out this huge event at 1340 W. Washington St. There will be more than 250 vendors, a beer garden with vintage carnival games, gourmet food, a vinyl record swap, and tons more. Doors open at 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday and tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door.
