Nov 13, 2012We’re Smitten: Decoupage PlatesBy ALICE OGLETHORPE
There’s just something about decoupage plates that makes me smile. They’re so whimsical and fun! And I love the ones made by Hoffman Estates artist Terry Hoffman. She had been a visual merchandiser and owned her own graphics company before she decided to start up Parachute425. She says it was as a way for her to release creative energy and show off her sense of humor. Her plates are made one at a time, and each one is fun and quirky. One of my favorites is this No. 1 plate. Give it to your kid’s teacher, your mom, or keep it for a daily reminder that you are, in fact, the best. Her entire line is at her Etsy shop, www.etsy.com/shop/Parachute425. Posted Nov. 13, 2012, | Back to all posts |
