Christopher Guy has landed in the Chicago area, bringing his own particular brand of glamour to the North Shore. His second U.S. showroom (the other is in Beverly Hills) is in a gorgeous 9,500-square-foot historic landmark, the old Hubbard Woods Trust and Savings Bank building. Guy’s outsize imagination appeals to clients who enjoy living large. “Interior designers love this line because even though the furniture is all hand-carved, different sizes are available to ensure the pieces are the correct scale for any room,” says Jim Denos, the showroom’s owner.
