Geometric furniture designs by T.J. O'Keefe

We spotted the work of T. J. O’Keefe, 28, at last year’s Guerrilla Furniture & Art Truck Show. O’Keefe’s architecture background shines through in his spare, geometric furniture. “I take small liberties with existing forms to create something interesting,” he says. His plastic Push lamp was inspired by doors ajar, his Helic S table was a self-imposed challenge to make a piece “that allows for privacy [but] with no closed compartments,” and his Y coffee table came to be when he “deconstructed and rearranged the supports” of a familiar shape. Selected items are available at Haute Living, 222 W. Kinzie St., 312-329-9000, and tjokeefe.com.
