Fifteen local designers gave old seats new life for this auction, which raised more than $10,000 for Designs for Dignity, an organization that provides pro bono interior design services and other support to area nonprofits. The chairs were incredible, from Katie Ernst’s girly damask throne to Nathaniel Ross’s manly valet to Angela Finney-Hoffman’s strappy, low-slung lounger. What better way to take a stand for doing good than by taking a seat?
