Leslie Hindman Auctioneers is hosting an on-site estate sale – a rare event for the auction house – on December 6 and 7. Items from the Lake Forest manor (620 Lake Rd., Lake Forest) include antique French and English furniture as well as Italian carved marble urns, Oriental carpets and a large collection of Audubon prints.

Artists Frame Service (1867 N. Clybourn Ave., 773-248-2800) is reopening its frame outlet on the first Sunday of every month, offering customers as much as 80 percent off hundreds of high quality frames. Stop by for the debut Sunday, December 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
