For 125 years, Children’s Memorial Hospital has relied on the support of donors and volunteers to help ensure that critically ill and injured children have access to the highest quality care. In April, Children’s Memorial, one of the nation’s top pediatric hospitals according to U.S. News & World Report, broke ground on the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago on the campus of Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. Proceeds from the 2008 Chicago magazine and Chicago Home + Garden magazine Showhouse by Orren Pickell will go towards making possible a world-class medical center offering unique medical and public spaces to create a more positive family experience, family-centered amenities and innovative program features that will distinguish the hospital as a leader in pediatric health care.
